Scottsdale AirCenter Chosen by NetJets® as Top U.S. FBO for 2010

Denver, Colorado, February 10, 2011 – Ross Aviation announced today that NetJets® Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company and the worldwide leader in private aviation, selected Scottsdale AirCenter, owned and operated by Ross Aviation, as the FBO of the year for 2010.

NetJets presented Scottsdale AirCenter with the NetJets Service Excellence Award, a credit bestowed to the FBO that best meets NetJets needs for safety, service, reliability, efficiency, facilities, amenities and maintenance capabilities.

Ross Aviation acquires FBO in Fresno, California
February 4, 2011

 

Denver, Colorado, February 4, 2011 – Ross Aviation today confirmed that it has acquired the assets and the leasehold of the FBO formerly operated by Atlantic Aviation at Fresno Yosemite International Airport in Fresno, California. The FBO will consolidate into the Ross Aviation’s existing on-field operation, Corporate Aircraft.

With this acquisition, Corporate Aircraft now offers over 250,000 square feet of hangar and 55,000 square feet of office space. In addition to full-service FBO services, Corporate Aircraft operates a prominent Part 145 repair station that specializes in Cessna Conquests and Citations and Raytheon King Airs. Corporate Aircraft enjoys a long-standing relationship with Cessna Aircraft Company as an Authorized Service Center and Parts Distributor. It also provides a broad selection of avionics services and products to general aviation aircraft.

Ross Aviation’s Chief Executive, Jeff Ross, stated “We are excited about increasing our capacity at Corporate Aircraft, which has been the premier FBO at Fresno Yosemite International Airport for more than two decades. With the additional ramp and hangar space we are able to accommodate local demand and the relocation of aircraft from more congested and expensive FBOs and airports in the region. Furthermore, we now have the capacity to expand our aircraft maintenance operation.”

Fresno is the largest metropolitan area in the San Joaquin Valley, and the fifth largest city in California. With its central California location, Fresno has quick and direct access to major California population centers by highway, rail and air.

Ross Aviation Adds 14th Location to Its FBO Network

Denver, Colorado, October 15, 2010 – Ross Aviation today confirmed that it has acquired the assets of the FBO formerly operated by Ronson Aviation, Inc. at Trenton Mercer Airport in West Trenton, New Jersey. For the time being, the FBO will continue to operate as “Ronson Aviation”.

This acquisition extends the Ross Aviation family of locally-managed and distinctly-branded FBOs into the Northeast and broadens the company’s reach to 14 locations stretching from Alaska to Florida and from Hawaii to New Jersey. The other Ross Aviation FBOs are Denver AirCenter at BJC, Scottsdale AirCenter at SDL, Santa Fe AirCenter at SAF, Corporate Aircraft at FAT, Great Circle Flight Services at ANC, Miami Executive Aviation at OPF, Laredo Aero Center at LRD and Bradley Pacific Aviation at six locations in Hawaii (HNL, KOA, OGG, LIH, ITO and LNY).

Ronson Aviation is a full service FBO engaged in aircraft fueling, hangar and office rental, aircraft maintenance, and avionics sales, installation and service. It offers 72,000 square feet of hangar and office space and 24/7 operations. It is located midway between New York and Philadelphia on the I-95 corridor, with 10% of the nation’s population residing within a 75-mile radius. With its 6,000 foot runway, ILS and on-site US Customs, Trenton Mercer Airport is the aviation home to many of the world’s pharmaceutical leaders. It is also minutes from Princeton University and a short drive to the Jersey Shore.

Ross Aviation Acquires Laredo Aero Center

Ross Aviation Acquires Laredo Air Center Denver, Colorado, July 1, 2008 – Ross Aviation LLC today announced that it has acquired Laredo Aero Center, Inc. in Laredo, Texas. Formerly known as Lacey’s Serv-a-Jet, Inc., Laredo Aero Center is the largest FBO located at the Laredo International Airport. This acquisition represents the ninth major FBO investment for Ross Aviation and increases its portfolio to 13 operations. Laredo Aero Center now joins Denver AirCenter, Scottsdale AirCenter, Santa Fe AirCenter, Capital Aviation, Corporate Aircraft, Great Circle Flight Services, Miami Executive Aviation and Bradley Pacific Aviation as strategic locations in the growing Ross Aviation network.

Laredo Aero Center has been providing exceptional FBO services to private and corporate aviation operators since it was founded by Doug Lacey and two other associates in 1975. The FBO offers 24 hour service in completely renovated facilities which include 98,000 square feet of hangar, office and terminal space. Mr. Lacey will remain as General Manager of the operation.

Ross Aviation Acquires Bradley Pacific Aviation

Five Locations in the Hawaiian Islands -- Honolulu, Kahului, Lihue, Kona and Hilo Denver, Colorado, April 11, 2008 – Ross Aviation today confirmed that it has acquired the majority ownership interest in the Bradley Pacific Aviation portfolio of five FBOs in the Hawaiian Islands. This acquisition represents the eighth major FBO investment for Ross Aviation and increases its portfolio to 12 operations. The FBOs, located at Honolulu International Airport, Kahului International Airport, Lihue Airport, Keahole-Kona International Airport and Hilo International Airport will continue to operate under the “Bradley Pacific Aviation” banner. The Bradley Pacific FBOs now join Denver AirCenter, Scottsdale AirCenter, Santa Fe AirCenter, Capital Aviation, Corporate Aircraft, Great Circle Flight Services and Miami Executive Aviation as strategic locations in the growing Ross Aviation network.
