The principals behind Ross Aviation have actively owned, expanded and operated FBOs since 1992. Collectively, the Ross Aviation team has more than 30 years of industry experience, has owned and operated 22 FBOs at a wide variety of airports ranging from non-hub general aviation relievers, destination resorts to major commercial hubs.
Ross Aviation teamed up with Centre Partners in late 2004 to pursue a growth strategy in the highly fragmented and rapidly growing FBO industry. Centre Partners, with roots dating back to 1986, has created one of the most established, experienced private equity teams investing in the market today. Over the last four years Ross Aviation has acquired thirteen prominent FBOs and currently has three additional FBOs under letters of intent or contracts. With the support of Centre Partners, Ross Aviation intends to grow the portfolio to more than 20 locations.
Ross Aviation’s current operations include Scottsdale AirCenter, Santa Fe AirCenter and Denver AirCenter, and Premier Jet in Carlsbad, California, Corporate Aircraft in Fresno, California, Capital Aviation in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Great Circle Flight Services in Anchorage, Alaska, Miami Executive Aviation in Miami, Florida, Bradley Pacific Aviation with five locations in the Hawaiian Islands and Laredo Aero Center in Laredo, Texas.
